Charles obtained his BSc degree in Construction Management from the University
of Pretoria in 1988. Since then, he has been involved in numerous property development
and building projects across South Africa.
He is the second son of Chris and Naubie Rossouw, well-known farmers of Delmas in
Mpumalanga. The Rossouw Family are the proud owners of the Farmers of the Year Award
that was bestowed on their family in 1997. Charles’ upbringing on the farm and the family
value of excellence enabled him to combine his skills as a builder with his family’s passion for
agriculture. He developed numerous innovative solutions for the extended Rossouw farming
business.
Charles and his father, Chris, jumped at the opportunity to purchase a run-down citrus farm
in Groblersdal in the early 1990s. With hard work and dedication, he turned it into an
outstanding farming enterprise, exporting to a global selection of markets and countries.
In 1992, Charles founded Rossouw Construction boasting numerous flagship projects over
many years.
