Carina has a keen interest in nature and enjoy outdoor activity with her family, but her true passion lies with psychology and the original art of yoga. She was born and raised on the East Rand in Gauteng, matriculated from Hoërskool Jeugland in 1989 and attained a National Diploma in Office Management and Technology from the Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria, followed by a Certificate in Marketing from Technikon S.A. in Johannesburg. Carina moved to Pretoria in 2014 and joined RealGrowth Development Pty Ltd the same year, after more than twenty-five years in Business/Administrative Management across a variety of industries such as Mining, Health and Food Supply, in Johannesburg and Namibia. She also furthered her studies by completing a short course
in Facilities Management through CEA, to further support her career in Property Management. She is a member of South African Facilities Management Association (SAFMA).
